Be Part of Someone's Fresh Start
Transforming lives and breaking the cycle of incarceration takes an entire community. Explore the four pathways to partner with New Dawn Transitions.
Four Meaningful Ways to Connect
Select the track that matches your role — whether you need housing, want to hire, can mentor, or wish to give.
1. Returning Citizens & Families
If you are preparing for release from a state, federal, or county facility — or supporting a loved one who is returning home — we provide safe housing, food, transportation, and case management.
Immediate bed, basic essentials, personal case manager, job placement support, and peer fellowship.
2. Second-Chance Employers
Partner with New Dawn Transitions to fill open roles with dependable, motivated workers who are actively enrolled in case-managed workforce readiness programming.
Pre-screened candidates, ongoing case-manager check-ins, transportation coordination, and WOTC tax credits.
3. Mentors & Volunteers
Walking alongside someone is the single greatest catalyst for lifelong change. Lend your time, professional expertise, or life wisdom to mentor a resident or teach a workshop.
1-on-1 mentorship (bi-weekly check-ins), resume review, mock interviews, financial coaching, or life-skills workshops.
4. Donors & Philanthropy
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your tax-deductible financial gift directly funds housing operations, resident welcome kits, emergency transport, and wraparound case management.
100% of contributions directly support Twin Cities transitional housing facilities and participant resources.
